“EQUAL RIGHTS, EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES”

        There is no poverty if there are equal rights and equal opportunities among humans.

            Today, we cannot see even a single piece of equality. There is rich and there is poor. There are very high people and there are down people. There are people who treat our fellowmen unequally. Even justice, liberty and freedom are very difficult to achieve by anyone. Especially those who are suffering poverty, some who are in high positions treat the poor ones unequally. They cannot shout their own rights. They are not given the opportunities to show what they can do. Today, if you have no power, no money, you cannot reach the freedom, your right to fight what’s in your side and you cannot grab justice as easy as eating peanuts. Justice is now for the rich. How about the others? Remember, we are all created by our Lord. So, let us spread equality all over the whole world.

            “Equal Rights. Equal Opportunities” must reveal now. Let us treat one another equally. We are only a person created by our only one God.

“WHAT DIFFERENCE CAN WE MAKE?”

               

                Youth or even a child can make a difference. A difference is also a great achievement.

          As a youth of the generation, we can make a difference not only for ourselves, for our beloved ones or for the country but also for all of us. But what difference can we make? Difference starts from us, before and after. Who are we yesterday and who are we today. As time passes by, we are making differences already. A good difference in our own personality leads us to create a better contribution to our country or to all of us. Making also a difference in our country can be easy if we are helping ourselves to enlighten our mind. Remove all those discriminations against others. Help one another in pushing our country to progressive. By encouraging ourselves to do such things or activity for the enhancement of ourselves, we can already make a difference.

          Making a difference means we are changing. In order to achieve a good difference between our doings for ourselves and for our fellowmen, we must have the power of a great mind, a strong determination, a big heart and of course, a strong faith in God.

“CLIMATE CHANGE”

Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years.

Humans are becoming irresponsible for taking good care of our nature. Because of being irresponsibility, several calamities are striking Mother Earth. One of it is the “climate change”. It gives a high effect in our country, Philippines. Nowadays, weather is not working permanently. Sometimes, the weather is really indeed warm then suddenly it becomes very cold and the wind blows rapidly. The weirdness of the weather really affects humans especially our source of food. The right growing process of edible plants like rice depends on the weather. If the weather is changing rapidly, the production of rice will have a possibility of becoming damage and it will only be wasted. So, if the rate of the production of rice decreases, hunger will increase. There are also those people who suffer a severe illness brought by climate change that can cause to death. There are so many causes of climate change. The main reason why there is climate change is our irresponsible taking good care of our nature.

We are suffering agony because of irresponsibility. We are already destroying Mother Earth. Let us enlighten our mind and open our eyes. Let us love and take good care of Mother Nature. Start making a good change while it’s not too late for us before we regret at the end.

MY REFLECTION

                Second grading period is almost finished. Well, I am very proud to say that my learning’s in ICT-IV broadened, especially about HTML (Hypertext Mark-up Language). I’ve had so much fun doing our activities. I’ve really enjoyed this grading period. I would like to express my gratitude thanks to our very charming teacher, Ma’am Veracruz for being a kind teacher to us. Thank you Ma’am, for sharpening my knowledge about html. Thanks also to my classmates especially, John Vincent Rabang and Jerome Mecca for helping me whenever I’ve encountered some troubles about our lessons and activities. Sometimes, the network was slow but it’s okay at least I’m enjoying our work.

          New learning’s again. I’m hoping that there will be more adventures to come. I’m ready to embrace the next chapter.

“PROMOTING DIGITAL LITERACY THROUGH ENGLISH PROFICIENCY.”

The English Language is considered as the ‘lingua franca’ of the world. It enables people from diverse cultural, ethnic, and social groups to communicate and co-exist with one another. It paves the way for Globalization to come over. It unifies us all.

        The modern day era had gone lots of dramatic alterations, leaving behind the ‘old ways’ as they are and embracing all the newfangled things with optimum support. Manifestations of technology in all sorts and forms of view had been astonishingly conspicuous in the modern age. It might have been a fact that the old and modern technology are like chalk and cheese yet life had remained as it is. Competitions are all pervading. And in order for people to go through the fickle mode of trends, they have to become eloquent English Language speakers. We are now living in a technological and modernized World. In order for us to go with the flow, we must be good in English proficiency. Digital literacy is flowing anywhere. To promote this digital literacy, we must be good in English proficiency. Digital Literacy plays a vital role in our daily living.

        “Promoting Digital Literacy through English Proficiency.” To understand more the digital literacy, we must practice English proficiency and we must be versatile in our “universal Language.”

"CHEMERG: CHEMISTRY AND SCIENCE CLUB IN SYNERGY."

Science plays a vital role in our life. Science is to explore new discoveries to cultivate our world. It embraces a lot of branches that can help in our daily living.

          “Chemergy: Chemistry and Science Club in Synergy, the theme of the National Science Club Month Celebration. IT means, merger of the two individual to produce a combined operation of greater productivity and efficiency. Chemistry is the science of matter, the properties of substances and their combinations and reactions. We are using chemistry in our daily needs. The clothes, accessories and shoes we are wearing are produce by chemistry. There was variety of things that Chemistry can do. Experiments are made to formulate a new technological product that can contribute to our modernized world. The products made by chemistry help us a lot in our daily living. We cannot avoid diseases that can result to death but with the help of medicines and therapies made by chemistry, it can save a life. The machines and appliances that can make our work easier and more efficiency are created by science and chemistry. There are a lot of things that chemistry can do what more if Chemistry combines Science?

          They are a great combination. If Science and Chemistry help each other, therefore there will be a greater productivity and efficiency. A progressive World will come out. But we must think and remember there will always limitations. We must know how to use it right and not to abuse the products made by the synergy of science and chemistry.

" I SALUTE YOU MA'AM! "

                “Bring out one-whole sheet of paper! SPREAD OUT!!”, a line that arouses my sleeping brain.

          I met her when I’ve entered my fourth year life. At first sight, a very strict and frightful teacher. She has a short hair with eyeglasses and very poise when walking. She is Ma’am Ester Alegre, our adviser and our teacher in advance physics. As time goes further, I start admiring her intelligence and her good attitudes. I love her very much. Ma’am Alegre is so cool especially when she’s lecturing. The way she teaches us was so fantastic and I like it. She is so funny. Sometimes a little bit eerie and crazy she is like a loving and caring mother to us. Whenever one of us have problem, she is so concern giving some advices just to cure the sadness of her pupil. She is a good mother at same time a good teacher. But take note, she is very strict about her subject. She will not stop trying her best teaching, for us to understand the lesson very well. For her, you must be good in analysis. I’ve already learned a lot from her. I will not forget all those inspiring quotes that she shared to us. I’ll never forget her very shocking line while entering the door, “Bring out one-whole sheet of paper! SPREAD OUT!!”  that  awakes my soul. She likes giving unannounced quiz, so better review your lesson before going to bed than to get none at all. She always shares to us some stories and experiences of her. I was laughing because I saw her that she was searching for the perfect name of her black dog. So cool isn’t it?

          Ma’am Ester Alegre, my idol. She is a joyful person, very intelligent and well-discipline women. She is a teacher with good attitudes and extraordinary talents. That’s why I love and admires her. I salute you Ma’am Alegre.

"YOU'RE MY IDOL!"

      Yes, truly I admire him. A versatile man of my sight. my inspiration in my life.
       From the day I've met him, you give path to my life. He was the one who gave my name. I don't know why, every child that time was frighten to him. One word only, he can stop the children from making noise. Yes, he is a teacher, an intelligent and a well-discipline teacher. He can manage his students very well. Not only that, I called versatile man because I think he can do everything. He is good in dancing. Now he is a teacher in Doha, Qatar. Everytime he went home, he is also a dance instructor. All of the groups he was handling before became champion. He is also good in designing gowns. Actually, he had her own shop already. He is good in singing. even arts, he's great. A role model to everyone and now he is successful.
       I admire him, his extraordinary talents and attitudes. No other than, my uncle, Mr. Amelito Rodery Valencia. I want to be like him. Uncle, you are my idol.

REFLECTION

         First grading in ICT-TLE, was fun and interesting. New learnings and new discoveries. I’ve gained more informations about Internet with Maám Vera Cruz. The Internet Architects, the Philippine pioneers, the software pioneers and more about Internet and Blogs, I’ve learned them from Maám Vera Cruz. I enjoyed being with Maám and my classmates so much. Thanks for the new learnings. I will treasure it, promise!
         I’ve enjoyed my class in ICT-TLE. But sometimes there are problems that I encountered. I have no groupmates at all but my workstation is not functioning, grrrr...! So I need to joined the other groups just to finished the given activities, also the time is not enough for me because I’m not good in typing, I’m a slow typer. But I’ve enjoyed it while learning.
        I joined Jerome Mecca in his workstation. Thanks to him because he helped me in my activities. He also taught me about things that I can’t understand. Caryll Banayos also help me in typing my activities, she is so fst in typing. But of course, I’m helping myself also to be a good typer. With the help of Maám Vera Cruz and my classmates I’ve solved the challenges as easy as one, two, three.
Moving on I will try my best. For me to not to be left behind. I will enhance my ability about our subject. And also of course, I will treasure every time with them. I will just enjoy our class. Just play, enjoy while learning.

State of the Nation Address of his Excellency

SONA or State of the Nation Address is an annual event which the president reports the status of the economy of the country.

President Benigno Simeon "noynoy" COnjuangco Aquino III delivered his SONA last July 25, 2011 at the Batasang Pambansa Complext, Quezon City. He tackled to us, Filipinos, about the problems of our beloved country and how we will going to solve these problems. President made a good start. He has a started eradicating those corrupt people in our administration and government. Adding more jobs to those unemployed Filipinos, more houses for our dear soldiers and policemen. Our rice productivity became more progressive. The percentage of smuggled cars decreased. The percentage of families who are suffering hunger diminished. We can see that the change we are looking for has already started.

Our country is nearly buried in this kind of agony and we must  lighten our mind now and work as one. A wake-up call to Filipinos! Hoping that our new President is the change we have been waiting for. You can count on us Filipinos.

Isulong Breastfeeding, Tama, Sapat at Ekslusibo

                 The health of any persons begin from his/her starting age. Babies are the most precious gift of God to our dear mommies. There is no second or minute that a mother will missed caring for her precious baby. The very first step should the mommies do to ensure the health of their babies is Breastfeeding.
                 We are now living in a modernized world and we can't deny that as time passes by, new inventions are growing anywhere. Alao different commercial products emerged. But we don't know if these products can give us the complete package of nutrition that we need especially for the babies. Breastfeeding is the very first step and the best way in giving the nutrition for the young child. Breastfeeding is simply the feeding of an infant with breastmilk directly from female human breasts. Dfid you know that breastfeeding provides the perfect nutrition for the babies and provide many health benefits. It contains protein, calcium, phosphorus and various vitamins. It also increase the intelligence of the baby. I can also help the babies to prevent or avoid such illness or diseases. Breastfeeding is highly recommended by the experts. Not just only breastfeeding, to the mommies don't forget to eat balance diet and to take regular exercise everyday.
                 Let's promote breastfeeding for the new parents. Always remember, the milk of a goat is for the kid, the milk of a dog is for the puppy, the milk of a pig is for the piglet, how about the milk of a cow? for your baby?

Letter To Mr.P-Noy

Dear President Noy,
                 It's my pleasure to write a letter for you Mr. President. Can I borrow your time for a while?
                 The reason I wrote a letter is that I am concern of the happenings in our own beloved country. as we can see, our country is having a very deep sleep and haven't open its eyes yet. Crime is growing. Corruption is still alive. Calamities, disasters, or any problems are spreading all over the country. As an observer, our country is having a cancer and that is poverty. Until now, the question is still a question by everyone. When will popverty ends?.I wolud like you to period this issue. I'm asking for your help to please lead us to make a better country. Wake up the Filipinos.
                  I hope that this time is now the day of changes. I hope that this time we can target the goal and that is to bring our country to the top.
                  We adore and trust you Mr. President. You can count on us Filipinos.
